The choleric temperament is one that is widely misunderstood and this causes people to not want to be around them but if you take your time to understand why they act the way they do then it opens the door to a wonderful relationship.
THE TOUGH LOVE THING
For cholerics emotional expressiveness is usually overrated. They would rather bottle up how they really feel inside than have you know about it.
To the rest of the world, it is lacking compassion and sentiments but to the cholerics, its about giving others to step up to maturity which is usually what they seek for in relationships.
THE RESPECT THING
Generally cholerics are bossy and egotic and they usually find it hard to accord people respect but the truth is that with cholerics respect has to be earned.
It is usually hard for cholerics to put up an act in order to make others feel better about themselves so when you have the respect of a choleric, then for sure you have it.
THE EGO AND HIGH SELF ESTEEM
What people define as over confidence and pride is what a choleric would define as insurance.
To them, the universe has places it upon their able shoulders to be up and doing when the rest of the world is slacking and because of that their very first instinct is to compete and win and to lead.
ATTRACTION TO GOAL GETTERS
In relationships people say opposites attract, something about fitting into the other person’s missing parts but cholerics tend to be drawn to people who also appreciate goal getting and problem solving.
ATTRACTION TO GOOD LISTENERS
Yes cholerics might be emotionally contained but they are not robots and for a personality type that is largely misunderstood, they seek for people who will listen to them and understand them. They need to be reassured that they are not bad persons just for pushing others to do better.
