Within the first week of the year, the man behind Facebook made a post that drew lots of attention and got people talking.
In this particular post,Mark Zuckerberg tried to highlight some of the major areas Facebook would be focusing on in 2018.
Great post indeed but just like it has always been under the sun, WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET.
People blinded by rage against Facebook and all the community stands for, people who think Facebook is not doing enough and their likes might have also missed the REAL VALUE dripping from the post.
1. HE STARTED A YEARLY CHALLENGE THING IN 2009
This is a typical case of tough people living beyond tough times. 2009 was a bad year economically and even worse for startups who were not yet making profits but here is a young man who understood that if he was going to make it, he needed to be better.
His yearly challenges were not just targetted on making facebook bigger but majorly on self improvement. Every good ship needs a good and experienced sailor.
Isn’t just wonderful for person to keep track of how many miles he ran in a whole year; how many books he read and cities he visited. They are not life or death situation details but it is evident that for Mark Zuckerberg to have kept this records, he pays very close attention to details. No wonder Facebook is the biggest community in the word.
3. TAKES TIME TO CONNECT WITH PEOPLE AND FAMILY
Making it big time in your career does not imply becoming a robot who never takes breaks or relates with others. Take it from the man who runs something as big as facebook and yet finds time for paternal leaves and being there on the first day of school. The society gives you the opportunities you work on, the society is the market you hope to dominate, the society makes you a VALUE CREATOR.
